Setting up the Belkin N600 Dual-Band WiFi Range Extender

This article will show you how to connect an Ethernet cable to your Belkin N600 Dual Band Range Extender. To find out how, adhere to the guidelines below.

Make sure you have the following before starting:

  • The network name (SSID) and wireless password for your wireless router. Make sure you have both bands’ SSIDs and passwords if the router has two bands.
  • A computer or laptop
  • A network cable

Step 1:

Use an Ethernet cable to connect the range extender to your computer.

Step 2:

Input the range extender into a power outlet.

Step 3:

Disable your computer’s Wi-Fi capabilities.

Step 4:

Open a web browser and hit [Enter] after typing https://Belkin.range in the Address bar.

NOTE: You can also go to https://192.168.206.1 to visit the web-based setup page.

Step 5:

Click the Get Started button once you are on the web-based setup page for the Belkin N600.

Step 6:

Click Next after choosing your 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless network.

Step 7:

Enter the password for your wireless network when prompted, then click Next.

Step 8:

Create Extended Network by clicking.

Your Belkin n600 Range Extender should now be successfully configured.
